Roads are pathways for vehicular use. This could include bike lanes for pedal bikes, standard roads for all vehicles (except pedal bikes), and bus specific roadways as examples. With that said, there are some requisites to some roads that would be beyond the scope of this site since I am not an expert in such things. There is only one condition, a roadway can not have the same name for 2+ roads in a county. This means there can not be 2 A Streets in the county, but there can be A Road, and A Street. This is done to eliminate confusion, and make finding where to go easier.
In reality, I would have rather included Solar Roadways in the code standards, but as much as I will wish to include that, it would seem to be vaporware. With that being said, it would not be able to be a standard part of code in the fictional country. However, the concept of Solar Roadways would have been an excellent idea indeed.
