CDL Vehicles

Some vehicles will require a CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) which will be required for freight trucks, and buses. This is due to the extra effort required to properly operate the vehicle. For example, a CDL vehicle will likely have a much higher height than a conventional automobile which must be known by the driver. This is underpasses, and locations with weight limits. All of these are issues that a normal license will not allow for.

Buses must have digital signs on the top front of the vehicle. This signage will provide for the route number, and route name. The rear of the bus must also have a digital signage to provide for just the route number. This is intended to allow the passenger to make choices based on what’s in their best interest.

All freight trucks must have sleeping quarters behind the cabin. This will allow the long haul driver to pull into a trucking stop, and sleep. This will be because there will be limits on how long a driver can be on the road in any particular day. This is to reduce accidents. Since I am not an expert in this field, I would leave that to professionals in defining NSC laws regarding CDL vehicles.
