The Kaldus International Airport will be located towards the center of the nation, and intended to be the only international airport in the nation. This will reduce the need for multiple airports to support long haul airplanes which demands more resources while still allowing for the need for such aircraft. The Kaldus International Airport will support large aircrafts such as Airbus A380, and Boeing 747.
KTA will be responsible for offering allowances for other airlines to come to the airport. This will be likely for frequently travel routes, or popular tourist destinations. With this in mind, KTA will also have Kaldus Air which will support Airbus A220 for connecting to regional airports, and Airbus A350-1000 for long haul aircraft. In the case of long haul aircrafts – there will be 2 classes (business and economy). This will allow the majority of passengers while still addressing business class flights. It would be unlikely that there will be daily trips to other countries.
For the structure of the airport design, the International Airport will also function as a regional airport, and heliport. There will be 2 restricted spaces. The first one is for emergency services, and the second one is under the control of the Royal Guard, and intended to keep the aircraft for the royal family safe. This will include an Airbus A220, Airbus A350-1000, and Airbus H225. The royal family will fly in the most appropriate vehicle. There will also be a modified Airbus A350F which will transport the sedan, and 2 SUVs ahead of the flight for any international trips. With that said, the royal family will rely on the country’s defense system for majority of safety – therefore reducing inconvenience without attracting too much attention.
